Louis Vuitton HOMME drop AW18 pre-collection

GLANCING to the past while heavily progressing  into the future, French fashion house Louis Vuitton embodies the style and life of a true global traveller, the urban explorer, in their new AW pre-collection 2018. The bright lights that flood the streets of Hong Kong and New York, the calm big skies of the Himalayas and the Wild West have all influenced the luxury retailer’s AW18 pre-collection.

The Monogram is the main event, from the fun print denim, and soft designed Japanese seersucker silk shirts to woven and knitted jacquards and perforations. The Louis Vuitton Upside-Down appears on Monogram Ink, Monogram Shadow introduces a new line of embossed, soft and matte Monogram leather. This continues through to the derbies and piping traced soles of the ankle boot, both decorated with Louis Vuitton stud details.

“Merci. Have A Vuitton Day” reads across the zip-through waterproof hoodie and t-shirt, a reflective Louis Vuitton motif that focuses on everyday routines and life. Cheerful playing card motifs and dice prints are unveiled across shirts and exciting accessories. A sense of old and new styles mixing together is undeniable in these clean finished winter pieces. The importance of versatile layering for the global traveller, is explored through the removable Monogram blanket linings and rich patch work pieces that feature a variation of textures and skins.
