Glass reviews Its Skin Power 10 serum and cleanser

GOODBYE hyperpigmentation, hello vitamin C. With summer coming to an end, so is the additional vitamin C our skin has been soaking up in the sun, this season. Vitamin C is an ingredient used avidly in the beauty industry when creating skin care products, with a wide variety of products containing the vitamin to improve and enhance the appearance of the skin. Thus, I decided to give one of Asia’s trending vitamin C serums from Its Skin, as well as the brands cleanser a try.

It’S Skin Power 10 Formula Cleansing Foam

Its Skin Power 10 Formula VC Effector Face Serum has been the brand’s best-selling product, ever since it was launched in 2006. The popular face serum claims to, remove the dark areas of the skin and overall brighten the skin tone with its main ingredient, Vitamin C. It also has an effect of minimizing the appearance of pores. Its Skin recommends the serum be used to combat skin blemishes, dull skin tone, large pores, but is recommended overall for all skin types.

It’S SKIN Power 10 Formula VC Effector

A newer kid in the block is the brands Vc Power 10 Formula Cleansing Foam, the jelly textured cleanser develops into a foam when applied to a slightly damp face. It claims to be brightening and provide vitality to dark, shiny skin.

For a month I used the cleanser morning and night, in the PM I would follow with the serum.

My main takes where that the VC Effector Face Serum is quite heavy on the skin and takes a while to be fully absorbed, thus I found it more beneficial to only use at night. With a slight citrus scent, the product felt refreshing on the skin, and never broke me out.

The Vc Power 10 Formula Cleansing Foam passed my test of cleansers by not stinging my eyes, it didn’t leave my skin feeling stripped of moisture and didn’t break me out in any way. The cleanser also has a refreshing citrus scent, not too overbearing though. After incorporating both the serum and cleanser into my beauty routine for nearly a month I did see a difference in the texture of my skin. using the serum resulted in minimizing my hyperpigmentation spots, and my pores seem to be a no-show after about two weeks of using the products. In addition, the applicators were user-friendly, distributing the perfect amount of product with each application.
