Glass gets the glow with FOREO Luna Mini

THE recently launched FOREO Luna Mini is so different from just cleansing your face in the morning and evening in the usual way, as it is simultaneously invigorating and soothing. So much so that I would have no problem whipping it out on The Tube for a quick pick me up.  I love it!

Vibrating skincare devices, as well as facial brushes, seem to be the thing for rejuvenation, by which I mean not looking visibly younger, which might be the case over a period of regular use, but it definitely perks you up as well deeply cleansing. It’s like an electric toothbrush for the face, and I won’t tell you the science bit because I don’t understand it. However, you are not advised to use any clay- or silicone-based or any kind of grainy cleansers, exfoliators or scrubs, as these will clog up the pad.

But you should lather your face with your favourite cleanser, turn on the pocket-sized device and have three minutes of facial bliss in both the morning or evening. You will even glow without make up, and you will absorb the make-up you put on better, because your pores are basking in, well,  the afterglow. However, helpfully, Foreo produces their own range of day and night cleansers which are designed to be ideal for use with the Luna.

All that said, it needs to be used with a decent cleanser. Use a good brand gentle cleanser and you are bound to make an entrance into wherever you need to go with rosy cheeks and a “can do anything” air about you. This one is a keeper.
