Head to the recently opened Fazenda Nova this Autumn, a secluded luxury country house in the heart of the Eastern Algarve.  It's a short drive from Faro airport, located near the beautiful historic coastal town of Tavira,  The original Portuguese country house - after some TLC treatment - has been renovated in to a contemporary style whilst retaining its original features and traditional architecture.

Fazenda has ten large suites, two apartments with their own kitchens and one Penthouse. You can expect Balinese wooden beds met with Egyptian cotton sheets for luxury comfort, and rain drencher showers and REN shower products to wash off the day's events. Most of the rooms also have private gardens or terraces and their restaurant, Cozinha offers Iberian cuisine and fantastic freshly baked breads to appeal to all your senses.

We're quite taken with the ten hectares of land it sits on too: as well as the romantic appeal of its own orchard, vegetable and herb gardens, expect olive trees, wild flowers (in Spring) and some harvesting action which you are welcome to join in with during your stay. The good life indeed.
