Highly recommended by numerous freinds and colleagues I decided to try the Embassy this week.Starting with a chicken liver parfait with toast,
I found that the liver blended nicely with the sweetness of the seasoning of the silky
paste. The more-ish pâté was wisely accompanied by only two pieces of warm toast.

Next was a plentiful serving of their creamy summer vegetable
risotto. As a risotto lover I’ve come across a fair share of terribly salty
stodgy risottos, but this dish was absolutely divine. The rice was the perfect
texture flavored with thin slices of cheese, seasoned cherry tomatoes and
chopped asparagus.

Dessert was a Chocolate Mousse with Pistachio sauce. At
first glance the portion seemed far too small, but the richness of the soft
velvety chocolate made up for the size. Each spoonful was luxurious, but
anymore would have been too much. 

Despite the large number of occupied tables the place still
had a lovely calmness to it, the conversations, the music nothing was too overbearing.
 A great restaurant for catching up with friends
or going on a date. Best of all you can burn off all the calories you just ate
