Just want to talk about some of my standout favorites from this years Graduate fashion week .Emma Hardstaffâs work drew me in with her sugary pink and
lilac clad models floating down the runway. The collection called False Impressions
comprised of cleverly draped dresses, capacious jackets and tops that I felt
were styled nicely together and would also make great statement pieces mixed
with everyday clothes. To get to her final collection Emma explained that her
influence and inspiration had constantly evolved throughout fashion school, âyou
can never predict what your graduate collection is going to look likeâ. I loved
her Dr Seuss- like head pieces, which she confessed were a last minute addition
to the collection, an interpretation of the numerous up do hairstyles of the
models in her drawings. Here are some
pictures of her work.
