While we can just about glimpse fashion week on the horizon (hurrah!) here are some essential skin treats (mostly free of chemical 'nasties') to get your body and face schmooze-ready, and to help wind down after days of clattering around in heels from one show to the next (not to mention nights of champagne-fuelled partying...)

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser - £13.25

Waiting for a show to start is a perfect opportunity to apply some handcream, and having tried and tested many products on my dry, neglected mits, this award-winning cream is defintiely the best I've encountered. REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil - £30

Prepare to look dumbfounded when your next heating bill comes through - as you'll be bathing in luxurious scented waters every night with this addictive bath oil, containing rose oil, palmarosa and geranium. It turns to milk on contact with water (so no nasty residue to scrub off the sides of the tub afterwards) and with only one or two capfuls needed, you can soothe your tired feet and limbs in no time at all.

Aromatherapy Associates Renew Rose Massage and Body Oil - £33.75

When it comes to moisturising the body, oils are defintiely preferable to creams in my book (for a start you don't have to spend ages rubbing the damn thing in) and for the ultimate skin treat, this body oil - scented with rose, neroli and evening primrose oil - is the perfect way to wind down, and keeps skin silky soft in the harsh winter weather (we've still another month to get through!)
