While we can just about glimpse fashion week on the horizon (hurrah!) here are some essential skin treats (mostly free of chemical 'nasties') to get your body and face schmooze-ready, and to help wind down after days of clattering around in heels from one show to the next (not to mention nights of champagne-fuelled partying...)
Edited by Viola Levy - 26 Jan 2011 at 3:59pm

Containing rich cocoa butter, soothing chamomile and hops extract, this delicious skin-saver is the best of its kind, and acts as a cleanser, exfoliator and make-up remover in one - perfect for those jetting from New York to London... from London to Milan etc.. First you massage the product into your face, then exfoliate with the muslin cloth heated in warm water - for fresh, polished skin that belies the four hours sleep that you've actually had.
If you find yourself stumbling home at 3am - after a day of catwalk shows and an evening of hijinks - the last thing on your mind is embarking on a full skincare routine. But if you do one thing before hastily wiping off your make up and collapsing fully-clothed into bed, smear on this fantastic night-cream. With replenishing rose geranium and carrot seed, your skin will thank you for it the next morning.

Waiting for a show to start is a perfect opportunity to apply some handcream, and having tried and tested many products on my dry, neglected mits, this award-winning cream is defintiely the best I've encountered. Developed by the brains behind Harrods' super-luxe spa Urban Retreat, the cream is infused with Vitamin E and organic cucumber extract and forms a (non-greasy) protective film on the hands that locks in moisture. Plus ALL net profits are donated to The Eve Appeal, which funds pioneering research into gynaecological cancers.

Prepare to look dumbfounded when your next heating bill comes through - as you'll be bathing in luxurious scented waters every night with this addictive bath oil, containing rose oil, palmarosa and geranium. It turns to milk on contact with water (so no nasty residue to scrub off the sides of the tub afterwards) and with only one or two capfuls needed, you can soothe your tired feet and limbs in no time at all.

When it comes to moisturising the body, oils are defintiely preferable to creams in my book (for a start you don't have to spend ages rubbing the damn thing in) and for the ultimate skin treat, this body oil - scented with rose, neroli and evening primrose oil - is the perfect way to wind down, and keeps skin silky soft in the harsh winter weather (we've still another month to get through!)
