Liberty of London

Lower Ground, Great Marlborough Street

February 19th saw Glass magazine celebrate its official launch with the Grace issue.  Liberty in London (UK) played host, closing their champagne & oyster bar and men's accessories rooms to provide the immaculate venue.

Kicking off London fashion week in true style, the Glass party played host to London’s finest with the inimitable Michael Murphy providing an eclectic and much loved soundtrack to the evening. Guests were kept refreshed with a selection of cocktails, including Ciroc & cranberry and Drambuie, ginger & fresh lime, with wine and beer flowing courtesy of Eminent Wines and Peroni. Evian kindly kept the party goers going by ensuring they were well stocked with water. The canapés were supplied courtesy of Food Secret and were certainly worth a second and third helping.

The walls of the fantastic Liberty space were adorned with images from our incredible contributors such as Norbert Schoerner, Opas Chantkam, Felix Lammers and Feng Hai (who shot the stunning Maggie Cheung in Beijing for our first cover), and projections of films from the Glass website, transforming the space into a walk-in Glass experience courtesy of Canon.

The night can only be described as a wonderful and hugely successful beginning to the Glass experience and lucky guests left with a Liberty goody bag full of treats from Aveda and Godiva.
