Emilio Pucci Pre-Fall 2015

In a psychedelic display of electric blue and hot pink Emilio Pucci have released their latest collection for pre-fall 2015. Featuring a division of style, the collection takes on the form of two retro themes, beginning with early 70s boho chic and developing into a monochromatic display of full length gowns.

The introduction of loud colour paired with clashing pattern was met with a contrast of dark shades and metallic’s as Pucci divulged into a glam rock stage. With exquisite dashes of gold and silver highlighting the bodices and the asymmetrical lightning bolts across a select number of garments, the display of vintage glamour peaked towards the finale.

Pucci juxtaposed suede against sheer fabric to convey a bohemian style, with fringing and leather tassels making a subtle appearance amongst the accessories. Using tailoring to create an androgynous appearance, Pucci wrapped low waist belts around hips and used oversized jackets and flared maxi dresses to transmit a masculine edge.

The collection incorporated a mix of retro trends from casual hippy styles, to formal statement pieces, echoing the Studio 54 era. Pucci has once again found inspiration in the 70s and has encapsulated the essence of timeless fashion.
