Choctail wishes and high tea dreams at the Bulgari Hotel

The festive season brings out the best of London, and often it’s most wondrous epicurean delights too. Accordingly, Bulgari are doing as Bulgari usually does this party season, laying down only the best at the Bulgari Hotel with a sleek new high tea smorgasbord, created in-house by Alain Ducasse’s protégé Alexandre Talpaert, paired with a pop up ‘hot choctail’ pop-up bar, featuring cups of unique freshly grated dark chocolate with 75 per cent  cocoa solids from Alain Ducasse’s Paris-based chocolate factory alongside delightfully mini Bûches de Noël.

Confections aside, though they really don’t stop coming unless you want them to, the exclusive to Bulgari festivities will also coincide with the showcase of the photography exhibition Stop Think Give, a Save the Children campaign initiative, with a percentage of each hot chocolate sold being donated the independent children’s welfare charity.

Spiced pumpkin lattes are so last year this Christmas, so don’t let yourself get caught out sipping on one, head to the Bulgari Hotel and Residences in Knightsbridge and spoil yourself for choice deciding between another glass of Selection Alain Ducasse champagne or some more sinfully dark chocolate. Afternoon tea wise this December, it’s the best way in town to dine on a little bit of Ducasse’s magic for a brief and affordable moment.
