Bottega Veneta releases the third and fourth cinematic instalments of its SS18 campaign

BOTTEGA Veneta has debuted the third and fourth instalments of its six-part cinematic film series for its SS18 campaign, Reflections. It is latest chapter in The Art of Collaboration project, which previously pushed the boundaries of fashion advertising by incorporating fine art photographers. The brand’s creative director Tomas Maier says, “We have always told stories about our products and our brand.” Continuing, “The evolution of the Art of Collaboration enables us to reach and have a dialogue with the customer on his or her own terms.”

The first two episodes; Mirragio and 196.6 MHz were released in February. Similarly, the instalments, Utopia and Rebirth, despite having different narratives, characters, also link to the Bottega Veneta brand pillars: mystery, sophistication, architecture, sensuality and surrealism. Utopia features a man and a woman crossing paths in a street full of mysterious pink fog, while the characters in Rebirth are motionless, but have unspoken connection through the movement of light and objects.
