LEE Broom, award-winning UK designer has collaborated with global glassware design brand Nude, to create The Tree of Glass for the festive season at Aqua Shard, the contemporary British restaurant located in The Shard, London. This sculptural Christmas tree is inspired by the unique architecture of The Shard and its notable, individual silhouette on the London Skyline.
The Tree of Glass is comprised of 245 hand-blown glass LED pendant lights. Nude handcrafted the shade for each pendant light. Lee Broom, one of the UK’s leading product designers, has collaborated with leading global brands, such as Christian Louboutin and Mulberry.

The Tree Of Glass will raise funds for the British Red Cross, which is Lee Broom’s charity of choice. Each of the 245 pendant lights will be available to purchase. Aqua Shard have developed a special dessert and cocktail available throughout the festive period with 50 per cent of sales going to the Red Cross. Additionally, £1 will be added to every bill which will go directly to the charity.

The Tree of Glass will be unveiled on November 14 and will remain in the atrium of aqua shard until the New Year. The pendants can be bought from Lee Broom’s website from November 15. Each will come with a 2W dimmable LED and ceiling rose for simple installation and will be delivered after the tree is removed in January 2018
