CULT Australian beauty brand Aesop has introduced its first ever Herbal Roll On Deodorant following the launch of its very successful spray deodorant. This new herbal roll-on is alcohol-free, and contains zinc ricinoleate, wasabi extract and a blend of essential oils. I usually use a Clarins Eau Dynamisante anti-perspirant spray which I have found very successful at limiting perspiration and keeping me fresh and am pretty much devoted to.
However, I am always on the look out for more natural alternatives to conventional anti-perspirants – and over the years, I have tried many such as crystal deodorant sticks (a nice idea but of minimal use, I found); herbal “natural” roll ons which although they smell pleasant, don’t dry fast enough – if at all – and also leave white underarm stains on my clothes.

So I was pretty intrigued by this roll on, took a leap of faith and I have been wearing and testing this extensively throughout this, seemingly unending and unseasonal, heatwave. I have worn it to the gym and during long days at work and it has impressed. Coming from Aesop, as you would expect, the roll on smells really delightful – it is fresh and invigorating, with rosemary and lavender notes. It dries very quickly and doesn’t stain my clothes. It is also successful at limiting perspiration. This is a very good, effective, hardworking and fragrant deodorant which has earnt a permanent place in my routine.
